Open WebUI

Add an OpenAI-compatible connection under administrator Connections.

Before you connect

  • Install and launch the tool.
  • Create an API key and save the plaintext value shown once.
  • Choose a model ID whose protocol and capability match the tool.

Minimal configuration

Open Admin Settings → Connections → OpenAI, add a connection, and enter its URL and key.

Connection values
URL: https://api.noxgate.net/v1
API Key: sk-your-api-key

# 连接保存后，模型应通过 GET https://api.noxgate.net/v1/models 出现。
  • For containers, use an address reachable from the Open WebUI container; localhost points to the container itself.

Verify the connection

  1. Save the connection and refresh the model list.
  2. Select a NoxGate model and send a minimal text request.

Limitations and common issues

  • For container network errors, first confirm the gateway is reachable from inside the container.
  • If the model list is empty, check /v1/models and API-key permissions.
