Connect only when the installed Cursor version exposes an OpenAI Base URL override.

Before you connect

  • Install and launch the tool.
  • Create an API key and save the plaintext value shown once.
  • Choose a model ID whose protocol and capability match the tool.

Minimal configuration

In Cursor Settings, check whether Models/API Keys exposes API key, Base URL, and custom model fields together. Do not force the setup when any field is absent.

Model: YOUR_MODEL_ID
  • This page remains pending because Cursor settings can vary by version and subscription.

Verify the connection

  1. Select the custom model after saving.
  2. Send only a minimal text prompt and confirm the request reaches NoxGate.

Limitations and common issues

  • If the UI lacks Base URL or custom model controls, that version is outside the confirmed support scope.
  • Do not validate an unconfirmed setup in a production project.
