Claude Code

Connect to NoxGate through the Anthropic Messages protocol.

Before you connect

  • Install and launch the tool.
  • Create an API key and save the plaintext value shown once.
  • Choose a model ID whose protocol and capability match the tool.

Minimal configuration

Set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to the gateway origin without /v1; use the current shell for the first connection.

  • Do not put a plaintext key in a project settings.json committed to Git.

Verify the connection

  1. Run claude from the configured shell.
  2. Run /status to confirm the URL and credential source, then send a minimal prompt.

Limitations and common issues

  • Appending /v1 can produce /v1/v1/messages.
  • Use only models that support Anthropic Messages.
