Configure an OpenAI-compatible endpoint through a custom provider.

Before you connect

  • Install and launch the tool.
  • Create an API key and save the plaintext value shown once.
  • Choose a model ID whose protocol and capability match the tool.

Minimal configuration

Add a custom provider in Model Services, enter the API endpoint and key, then add the model ID manually.

Provider name: NoxGate
API Host: https://api.noxgate.net/v1
API Key: sk-your-api-key
Model: YOUR_MODEL_ID
  • Desktop versions may label the endpoint as API Host, API Address, or Base URL.

Verify the connection

  1. Enable the provider and select the added model.
  2. Create a conversation and send a minimal text prompt.

Limitations and common issues

  • Use the /v1 root as API Host, not a specific endpoint.
  • If the model test fails, copy the exact ID from the marketplace.
