Selection and troubleshooting rules

  • OpenAI-compatible tools generally use a Base URL ending in /v1; Anthropic tools use the gateway origin when their guide says so.
  • Model IDs must come from the marketplace and support the protocol used by the tool.
  • Validate a minimal text request before enabling tool calling, image input, or advanced features.
  • Never commit real keys to Git or include them in logs or public feedback.
